Alila Jabal Akhdar, Hyatt
JABAL AKHDAR
Alila Hotels and Resorts, founded in 2001, is known for its luxurious yet sustainable approach to hospitality. The name "Alila," which means "surprise" in Sanskrit, reflects the brand’s mission to offer guests extraordinary experiences that blend local culture, nature, and community engagement. Alila properties are renowned for their eco-friendly architecture, personalised service, and focus on well-being.
Perched 2,000 metres above sea level on the edge of Oman’s Jabal Akhdar mountain, Alila Jabal Akhdar offers a breathtaking blend of luxury and nature. Built using local materials and sustainable practices, the resort reflects the raw beauty of the region while providing guests with modern comforts.
I was hired by Hyatt to create a photography campaign for the Alila Jabal Akhdar resort. The goal was to capture the essence of this mountain resort—the grandeur of its surroundings, the authenticity of its design, and the immersive guest experiences it offers. My work involved collaborating closely with the resort team to photograph the architectural details, views, and unique guest moments, while highlighting the resort's ethos of luxury intertwined with nature. The result was a series of images that convey the magic of staying at Alila Jabal Akhdar.
